Meet/Job Sign Ups

Hello Swim Team Families!

I am happy to announce that you can finally sign up for swim meets and jobs on www.willowswave.com!!! The Swim Team Board apologizes for how long it took to open up the sign-ups but we had a swim team drop out of our league last minute so we were scrambling to get the schedule posted accurately.

We will have 6 official meets and 2 unofficial meets in addition to championships.  To participate in championships a swimmer must participate in at least 3 of the official meets though we encourage our swimmers to be at all meets.  Our first official swim meet is on 6/23 so please start signing up ASAP!

The first unofficial meet on 6/30 will be a fun meet in which we have a theme (TBA) and swim non-traditional races.  The second unofficial meet on 7/21 will be used as a last chance meet for swimmers to get times so they can qualify for conferences or improve their times for championships.

To sign up for meets and jobs go to the swim team website at www.willowswave.com and click on the meet sign-ups at the top of the screen.  There are directions on the website or you can click HERE for a slideshow that will walk you through the sign-up process.  You can sign up for all meets now as well as all jobs.  You must do 100 points worth of jobs to fulfill your work bond which means 3 jobs at meets plus helping at the end of year parties or 4 jobs at meets to make 100.

All meet and job sign ups must be finalized two days before the meet so the coaches have ample time to make the meet sheet.  If it is a Wednesday meet, your swimmer must be signed up by Monday at 10 AM (same for your jobs).  If it is a Saturday meet, your swimmer must be signed up by Wednesday at 10 AM (same for your jobs).  The meet will automatically close down after that point.  Any swimmer that is marked undeclared will not be placed in the meet to swim.

One final note about summer practice times.  Practice times for 11 and 12 year olds that chose morning practices have been adjusted to 9:30 AM with the 13-18 year olds.  We have a lot of younger swimmers so to balance out the practices a bit more we are asking that 11 and 12 year olds come to practice at 9:30 AM instead of the original posted time of 10:30 AM.  This is only for morning practices.  Evening practices will not change.  This has been updated on the team website.  Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled practice time so you can prepare for practice properly.  The practice starting time listed means you are ready to be in the water at that time.

If there are any questions about any of these you can email [email protected] Thank you!
